It is rediculous that we continue to try and make the Bible "relevant" to our times and culture/society - If America's RAGING FEMINISM is encouraging us to add to scripture to make it more "accurate", "gender nuetral" or "relevant" we are in serious trouble. Anyone who has contributed in causing a demand for this kind of sinful re-writing of scripture should be ashamed, and if it hasn't "hit us" yet, we should all be very worried about the influence of popular culture/society that is affecting the church (and those who claim to be Christians)...
Whoever was involved in supporting or participating in the publishing of this unnecessary translation should go back and re-read Revelation 22:18-19:
"I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues which are written in this book; and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away his part from the tree of life and from the holy city, which are written in this book. "
